Gentri has always had a love for animals and wanted to be a part of positive change in the animal industry. Gentri is responsible for walking, feeding and medicating the dogs as well as caring for the cats. Rest assured that your pets are in good hands when Gentri’s with them. Her attention to detail is great!
Gentri is engaged and has several four-legged children. Reni is a young German Shorthair Pointer that is currently training to be a dock diver with her happy, friendly and focused personality. Ranger, the German Shorthair Pointer Mix was rescued with aggressive tendencies but is now a well trained member of the family. Mia was a stray Husky/Cattle Dog from Tennessee. She was raised on Gentri’s farm and that sweet, loving girl is always willing to do tricks! Her Papillon, Bailey, has been with her since a puppy.

Shannon Borland
Veterinary Assistant
Shannon joined our team in April 2023. It’s her goal to keep our patients happy, healthy, and able to live a nice, long life. You can find Shannon working with our doctors in exam rooms and assisting with procedures. She also draws and runs bloodwork, takes radiographs, reads cytology’s and fills prescriptions. Shannon doesn’t have human children, but her leopard gecko and dog are her babies!
Shannon’s had Dudley, her sweet and goofy Golden Retriever, since he was 8 weeks old. He completed training and became a service dog at 3 years old. Gamora is her lazy leopard gecko that enjoys laying on her shoulder while she does chores around the house.
Lauren Lang
Veterinary Technician
Our lead Veterinary Technician came to us from a popular specialty hospital. She’s known that she wanted to work with animals since she was a little girl. Lauren and her son Lowyn have two adopted sweet and sassy fur babies named Winston and Toothless. Her greatest achievement is being a mom.
Lauren values spending time with loved ones and friends, as well as being adventurous, dancing or just listening to music.

Alexis Bryan
Receptionist
Alexis joined us with a wealth of veterinary knowledge. She’s one of the smiling faces you’ll see when you enter our practice. Alexis loves to make every client and pet have a comfortable and pleasant experience. Her favorite part of working here is making our clients feel like they’re truly part of the Palm Valley Veterinary Center family.
She’s always had a deep appreciation for all animals and believes that they’re healing and teach us the true meaning of unconditional love. The first time Alexis watched her first innocent life saved she knew that she belonged in veterinary medicine.
In addition to her role here, she also plays the role of mom to her two beautiful angels, 9 year old Lyric Rain and 3-year-old Ava Janae and loves spending time with her family. Alexis also shares her home and heart with her rescue cat Sushi and dog Loki and a recently adopted cat named Lizzy. Outside of work, she’s written and produced her own musical with her closest friend.
